Nestled among the vineyards, just outside the picturesque town of Berry on the South Coast of NSW, stand two silos and a restaurant aptly named Silos Restaurant. 80 years ago, the silos stored grain. Today they cellar our restaurant’s wine.
At Silos Restaurant, you can lunch al fresco with family and friends overlooking the award-winning vines of Silos Estate. In the evening, you can dine under the stars for balmy summer evenings, or inside by the open fireplace during winter.
Proud new owner and Executive Chef of Silos Restaurant, Andrew Hickie, leads his team of talented local chefs with a passion for fresh regional produce and artisan providores.
Having travelled the globe chefing for the likes of Oprah, Tony Blair, Paul McCartney and Ellen De Generes – Andrew, together with his wife and Silos’ General Manager, Sarah Smith, are the restaurateurs, Smithy and The Chef. It’s a dream come true for the duo and a ‘homecoming’ for Sarah who grew up in the area.
